Welcome to Kayetickets ("we,“ "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kayetickets website at www.kayetickets.com and our mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Kayetickets is an online platform that facilitates the sale and purchase of tickets for various events including concerts, festivals, conferences, and other entertainment events. We act as an intermediary between event organizers and ticket purchasers.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To purchase tickets, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase tickets. Minors may use the Service only with parental consent and supervision.

4. Ticket Purchases

4.1 Ticket Availability

All tickets are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit the number of tickets that may be purchased per person, per event, or per transaction.

4.2 Pricing and Fees

Ticket prices are set by event organizers. Additional service fees, processing fees, and delivery fees may apply and will be clearly displayed before purchase completion.

4.3 Payment

We accept various payment methods as displayed on our platform. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. All transactions are processed in desired currencies as provided by event organizers unless otherwise specified.

4.4 Order Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation serves as your receipt and contains important event information.

5. Ticket Delivery and Transfer

5.1 Delivery Methods

Tickets may be delivered via:

• Email (e-tickets)
• Mobile app
• Physical pickup at designated locations
• Other methods as specified during purchase

5.2 Ticket Transfer

Some tickets may be transferable subject to event organizer policies. Transfer fees may apply. Tickets transferred without authorization may be voided.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

If an event is cancelled, ticket purchasers will receive a full refund including applicable fees, typically within 7-14 business days.

6.3 Event Postponement

If an event is postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date. Refunds may be available if the new date is unacceptable to the ticket holder, subject to event organizer policies.

6.4 No-Show Policy

No refunds will be provided for failure to attend an event.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated systems (bots) to purchase tickets
• Resell tickets in violation of applicable laws or event terms
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent purchase limits
• Share or distribute copyrighted content without permission

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Content

All content on our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Event Organizers or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 User Content

By submitting content to our platform (reviews, comments, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or other reasons.

10.2 Event Responsibility

Event organizers are solely responsible for their events. We are not liable for event quality, cancellations, changes, or any issues related to the actual event experience.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kayetickets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kayetickets, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
